Keitaro Urashima when he was four years old made a promise
to a girl to meet her in Tokyo University. Now 19 years of
age, he finds himself waiting to retake the exam for the third
time, having failed to get in for the second year running.
We watch as he tries to study to get in there. One more point,
he's living in a girls dormitory, leading to many funny problems
with the residents.

Tenchi Masaki
is just an ordinary Tokyo schoolboy, when in his usual summer
vacation in Okayama, working in his grandfathers shrine, he
unleashes an ancient demon from a cave. He eventually subdues
her with a mysterious sword his family has had for generations.
Following that, several new female visitors enter their household,
and he has to look after them all to prevent them fighting,
and getting to grips with his new found power. What he doesn't
realise is they all like him and choose to stay because of him. |

Shinji Ikari lives in a world devastated by a meteor impact,
called the Second Impact. He's been called to Tokyo-3 by his
father who he hasn't seen in many years. He's been employed
by NERV to destroy an enemy known as the Angels, and he's
been assigned to pilot a giant mecha. From the start he despises
his job, and we view his inner turmoil, and those around him,
as the series progresses to the final conclusion.

Son Goku's tale
is one that has spanned three series, 508 episodes long in total,
with 18 movies, as we watch him grow up from a young boy searching
for seven Dragonballs which could grant any wish, to destroying
evil empires, killing aliens from other planets, saving the
Earth many times and even the entire galaxy eventually. His
power increases exponentially as he learns about his origins,
becoming a better fighter. |
