Romaji
This is the use of Roman letters in
Japanese writing, making it very easy to pronounce words. Most Japanese
and non-Japanese people use this way of writing to create hiragana
and katakana characters on a computer, using the standard keyboard.
The input software can then convert it to the appropriate symbol.
Throughout this site, I'll be using romaji when typing out Japanese
words, since most people who read this site will be unable to decipher
the symbols.
This is how my name appears in all
four styles.
